Add 3 Cups of coffee beans to a burr grinder. Set to coarse and grind.
Add 12 Cups (3 quarts) of water to a clean 1-gallon pickle jar.
Stir the coffee into the jar.
Cap and refrigerate for 8-12 hours.
Filter with a muslin cloth or stainless steel micromesh filter. It will take a few rounds of letting the coffee strain through the filter and dumping the grounds to get it all strained. At least it did for me when I used a micromesh pourover filter. I will try it again with muslin cloth at some point and update this.
Serve with Sugar syrup rather than sugar, as granulated sugar will not dissolve enough into a cold liquid.
