Iced Coffee

Ingredients

  • 1/3 kg medium-fine ground coffee[1]
  • 4L of water[2]
  • Oat milk[3] or other milk alternative.
  • Sugar syrup

Brewing

Brew the coffee. I'm writing this recipe having done it once; we used two pourover filters to brew it in several batches. This took a long time and will be inconsistent, so this part needs improvement. You're going for a very strong coffee, so automatic drip coffee makers probably won't work. At least, the ones I have would overflow.

Serving

Add about half the cup full of ice. Fill to around 1/3 of the cup with your milk alternative, then a copious amount of syrup, then pump in the coffee.

Notes

  1. It's easier to weigh the coffee before you grind it
  2. actually slightly less; enough to fill the airpot
  3. Wegman's Extra Creamy Oat Milk is the best for the price
